Dreams September 2001

"Pets" I was about to go away to college.  I had many pets, including cats, fish, and a Chihuahua, and I needed someone to take care of them while I was gone.  My father had always hated my pets in the past, but he agreed to care for them while I was at school.  It seemed like he really loved them. "In a Hotel with My Family" I was walking through a hotel with my family.  I noticed an older man lying on the floor.  My family did not care what was wrong with him, but I insisted that we go back.  The man had been shot through his temple, yet he was still alive.  I called 911, but the operator did not seem to care that the man needed medical attention.  Finally, an ambulance arrived.  The man thanked me for helping him and walked into the ambulance.  I wondered how he could walk into the ambulance if he couldn't even get up to dial 911 for himself. "Staying in a Rental House" Two friends and I were staying in a rental house.  I told one friend that she should talk to her sister, but she didn't want to.  Her sister was going to stay with us, so it would be weird if they weren't speaking.  A young blonde boy knocked on the windows of a house with a stick.  I wondered where he came from because the house was in the middle of nowhere.  I made a craft project that looked like a green nature scene. "Pool Party at School" I went to a pool party at school.  I was wearing red shorts and a white T-shirt over my swimsuit.  I later took the shirt off and placed it beside the pool.  The pool began to leak.  I left the area without my shirt.  When I came back, there were janitors around the pool.  They wouldn't give me my shirt back.  They claimed I had to fill out forms first.  One of the janitors and I went to an area in the pool complex that looked like a living room.  There were several children playing.  The pool manager was watching TV.  He gave me my shirt, but I thought that I had written my initials on the tag.  There were no initials, so I wondered if it was my shirt.  I was also surprised that I didn't actually have to fill out any forms. "Naked Grocery Shopping" I was naked in a grocery store.  No one else was naked.  No one else even seemed to realize that I was naked.  M told me how to make pork chop stew in a microwave.  I saw a friend from school.  He was also naked, but he did not seem to realize it.  I felt so uncomfortable being naked.  I later saw another friend.  This friend was fully clothed.  I asked him to help me find something in the store.  I no longer felt so uncomfortable about being naked.  This friend was also unaware that I was naked.  I didn't even have shoes or a purse.  I don't think I would have been able to pay for my groceries because I didn't have my wallet.
