Dreams August 2001

"Sleepover with a Friend of a Friend" I was in a class with one of my friends Diego.  I asked to borrow notes from him, but he had already borrowed my notes.  I had asked him for advice earlier.  He asked me if I would do a favor for him.  He asked if one of his friends could spend the night at my house.  I couldn't really say no because he had been so helpful to me. "Hammocks in the Woods" I was in the woods with my brother.  We were in two hammocks that were beside each other.  I was using my desktop computer in the woods.  I was having trouble with websites because I would read them once, but when I read them a second time the content would change.  There were two graves on the ground between our hammocks.  I wouldn't have noticed them except that my brother pointed them out.  He also noted that there was a giant moth above each grave.  I wanted to turn on a light to look at them in more detail, but he said the light would scare the moths away.  There was one half-eaten banana hanging from the tree our hammocks were attached to.  My brother said the moths ate the banana.  I felt very scared. "Toxic Coffee" I was a passenger in the car of a woman on TV.  We watched an actress walking on the sidewalk.  I was in the car but also on the sidewalk.  It felt weird to realize this.  The actress was drinking a frapuccino.  I wanted to warn her that frapuccinos had been recalled due to bacteria in them, but I couldn't because I was in the car.  I was afraid that she would die. "Murder on the Metrorail" I was on a train with two friends.  A body of a dead girl was across one of the seats.  Her body was decaying badly.  I pointed that out to my friends.  I told them that I didn't know whether the girl had died of a broken nose or of natural causes.  One of my friends made useless and annoying comments.  The other friend said nothing.  I suddenly realized that the girl had been murdered. "Men Shooting Children" I went to a school where I volunteered.  There were men in black suits shooting the children.  I took a gun and shot some of the men.  They tried to grab my legs.  I went back to the place where my family was staying during vacation.  My parents were sleeping.  Cable repair men were working on the TV in my room.  I was afraid that they would attack me.  The floor collapsed beneath me.  I saw Ursula's sister.  She was holding a doll that was half Barbie and half kangaroo.  I went downstairs for dinner.  I couldn't decide where to sit.  I was trying to determine which drinks were nonalcoholic.  I sat beside my mother, but there was no drink at that seat. "Amphetamines" I was convicted of possessing amphetamines.  My sister was sitting in the courtroom.  She looked like she was in mourning.  She asked the judge not to give me a life sentence.  A video was shown of me and my friends using drugs.  The opposing lawyer argued that there was no reason to give me a lighter sentence.  She said that alienation from any family member carried a life sentence.
