"My Teeth Were Chipping"    06/28/02 I was talking to my parents when suddenly a piece of one of my front teeth fell out of my mouth.  I began to panic.  I picked up the piece, but just as I was telling my parents what was happening, another piece fell out.  I had to go to a dentist, but my teeth were chipping very rapidly.  I was worried that pieces would fall out and my dentist wouldn't be able to reattach them. "Visiting My Brother in the Hospital"    06/16/02 My brother had been riding on a school bus that crashed.  He had some serious injuries, so he was hospitalized for several days.  I went to visit him in the hospital, but the nurses there seemed to be confused.  They originally insisted that he was not a patient at that hospital.  Eventually I was able to find his room.  My mother was already there with him.  He shared the room with two other boys.  I was surprised that the hospital did not look to be very clean.  It actually reminded me more of a dirty prison than a hospital. "A Gift from Midori's Mother"    06/07/02 Midori's mother had bleached blonde hair and a very abrasive personality.  She gave me a gift that was supposedly from Zara, although Zara wasn't there.  Midori's mother commented that I couldn't return the gift to the store because it was worth $17, but they had only paid $1 for it.  I decided to keep the gift, although I wasn't sure exactly what it was.  I thought it might be a book.
