"Viewing a Movie Using a Photoshop Filter""    02/28/02
I was on vacation at my grandmother's house where everyone else seemed to be sleeping except me.  I decided to watch a Bill Cosby movie called Space Dad using a filter from Adobe Photoshop to enhance it, but the movie turned out to be a cartoon.  I turned off the movie and went outside where I got into a two-story bus with an open top with Calvin.  I was sitting in a very small area and telling him about the movie when he suggested that he and I could watch it together because he had Photoshop on his laptop.  I politely declined.  He came over and sat on my lap and after a few minutes he fell asleep in my arms.  That made me feel happy and comfortable.  Then I was walking in an area under an overpass where there was a huge parade, but I was the only person without a costume.  The parade ended in a movie theater.  Several people that I seemed to know were there.  We all had to jump over large ribbons that were tied around the seats.  I went back to my grandmother's house instead of staying for the movie.  It was time to leave and everyone in my family was packing and getting ready to go to the airport to fly home, but for some reason my father wasn't going to fly with my mother, brother, and I.  I was the slowest person packing and realized that I had left my backpack at my grandmother's house.  That was weird because I thought I was still at her house.  I kept telling everyone to hurry or we'd miss our flight.  When we passed a golf museum in the house my dad asked if we could pick up a t-shirt.  We drove to the airport parking garage, but we couldn't find the entrance to the airport.  My dad debated if we should drive into an area that looked like a hole in the floor with a wire cage around it.  Eventually my family decided just to walk.  As we got out of the car my father gave me a stuffed animal for Valentine's Day.  That made me feel slightly better than I had before.

"A Censored Movie""    02/28/02
I went to Wal-Mart because I was looking for a special type of blue beaded charm that was supposed to lead to good luck.  Wal-Mart was extremely dark inside and was carpeted with dark gray industrial carpeting.  I walked to the jewelry section and saw the charm I wanted.  There were some people standing nearby who were talking about it.  I continued to look at the other items, but when I looked for the charm again I couldn't find it.  Some young girls walked up to me and asked if I had seen a blue bracelet, so I showed them where the display of blue bracelets was.  One of them said to me, "Thank you, little girl."  Then both of them walked away.  I chose some items and then picked up a disposable camera.  I walked out of the store without paying.  It was an accident.  I went back and told the store manager what had happened.  I was afraid that I would be arrested, but I wasn't.  I put the camera in a manila envelope and went to a hotel.  I had another envelope containing a sexy gift for Calvin.  When I walked into the hotel room, Calvin was not there; Leslie Nielson was there instead.  I handed him the envelope with the camera.  He asked what was in it, but I wouldn't tell him.  He said, "I bet it's a real f*cker inside."  I felt like I was watching a censored movie because as he spoke his words were changed to, "I bet it's a real fluffer inside."  I wished Calvin had been there.  I felt lonely and out of control.

"Misuse of Photoshop Filters"
I walked around the mall with one of my uncles, two of my cousins, and Alan.  I split up from the rest of them and went into a department store which seemed to be filled with women who were looking at hairclips and other accessories.  I left and went into a different store that was very brightly lit and the floor was white tile.  There was a section of the store that was in a dark, enclosed area.  In this section there were white cement blocks with the names of singers on them.  There were many rows and columns of these blocks.  They almost formed stairs.  I decided to climb one of them, but I stepped on a block and it seemed as if the block was made of cardboard because it collapsed beneath my foot.  I almost fell.  I grabbed onto something near the doorway of this area.  I was very high above the floor.  Store workers gathered around where I was hanging.  Eventually one of them helped me down.  I was kicked out of the mall because of this accident.  Later I snuck back into the mall and met my family.  My uncle morphed into a professor of mine, Ms. Dale.  She had long blonde hair and braids.  It was difficult for me to recognize her at first because she was wearing a floppy hat.  She suggested that we all say a prayer together.  I told her to go ahead and say it, but she seemed to want me to say it.  Alan and I left the mall after she said the prayer, but we were walking down an indoor highway.  There were people who were skiing on what looked like blades of light.  I said that I wanted to learn to do that, but Alan said I couldn't because the people who did that were professionals.  Alan and I went to an office area in a basement where he used an Adobe Photoshop filter to change me into ice.  I had tried to run away, but I became frozen in place.  Then he used a second filter to shrink me, so I was stuck in a tiny cube of ice.  I screamed, but I knew that no one could hear me because I was small and trapped in ice.  Eventually the ice melted and I went back to normal size.  I ran to my father and cried.  I told him that I wanted to use the filters on Alan, but my father said it wouldn't be right to do that.

"Pressured to Eat a Veggie Burger""    02/27/02
I visited Ursula in the middle of the afternoon, yet her parents were both home and already cooking dinner.  I kept telling Ursula that I needed to go home because my mother would be cooking dinner soon, but Ursula insisted that I stay and eat with her family.  I told her that my mother would be very angry with me and began to walk downstairs.  Her parents were standing at the bottom of the stairs and encouraged me to stay.  There were many paper plates of hamburgers and fries on the stairs which I tried to avoid stepping on.  I explained that I didn't eat hamburgers because I'm a vegetarian, but her parents replied that they had veggie burgers.  I finally picked up a plate and ate a veggie burger when I reached the bottom of the stairs.

"Twirling Sticks""    02/26/02
I was standing in a large grassy field with people that I knew in high school.  Ursula was also with me, but I thought that she had changed the spelling of her name to Ursala.  She and I walked up to our teacher Ms. Huntington.  I thought we were on a field trip and were expected to walk a long distance.  Ursula told the teacher that I had said that we only have to run one mile in cross country practice.  That was a lie.  We left the teacher, but I later went back to tell her that what Ursula said wasn't true.  Ms. Huntington became angry and said that everyone else was doing what they were supposed to be doing.  I looked around.  Everyone was holding long silver sticks with red cones on each end.  They were spinning the cones on the sticks and then twirling the sticks in the air.  I realized we were in gym class and Ms. Huntington was the gym teacher.  I no longer saw Ursula anywhere, but I did notice my friend M nearby.  I went over to him and saw his father was standing beside him.  M told me that he had invited his father to help him.  I noticed that M had the same problem that I had.  Everyone else had cylindrical sticks, but ours were angular, so the cones wouldn't properly spin.  I showed M how to move the cones toward the center of the stick in order to spin them, but he seemed to think that was too difficult.

"Curling My Hair"
My mother and I were staying in a very modern hotel during a visit to a college.  I remember the way the lights in our room seemed to glow a beautiful shade of pink.  My mother said she wanted to take a nap before we went to one of the meetings we planned to attend.  There was a knock at the door, but when I opened the door about five people walked into our room.  I told them they all had to leave because my mother was sleeping and pushed them out the door.  Later there was another knock.  When I answered the door this time it was Calvin.  I told him to come in but explained that I was about to curl my hair.  I walked into a dressing area and began heating up the curlers.  I was a little embarrassed that he was going to watch me curl my hair because somehow it seemed like a very intimate and personal act.  He seemed to think it was interesting to watch me.  He was being silly and talking loud.  I felt bad because I knew my mother was trying to nap.  I finally had all of the curlers in my hair, so Calvin and I walked back into the main room.  My mother was still lying in bed, but she was not sleeping.  I wondered if she had heard my conversations with Calvin.  The thought of her listening to my conversations with him made me feel very embarrassed.  Calvin seemed to sense this and held my hand which made me feel somewhat better.  It seemed as if he was part of my family.  He, my mother, and I left the room and walked to the banquet hall where I opened large double doors and saw that the room was filled with hundreds of people.  I felt nervous, so I turned around and asked my mother if we could skip the meeting.

"TV Time with My Family"
My parents and brother were sitting in our living room.  I walked in, and saw that they were all watching TV, so I joined them.  They were watching a documentary about a female surfer in her teens who was being interviewed on the beach.  I thought I heard her say that she was 14 years old.  I told my family that the girl looked athletic, but really the girl looked pale and unhealthy and slightly anorexic.  The girl and her mother were getting ready to drive to a surfing competition that was far away.  The girl asked her mother if she wanted her to drive.  The mother looked like she was on drugs, but she insisted on driving.  The mother told the interviewer that she only used good drugs which made me wonder what good drugs were.  I assumed the girl must be 16, since she was offering to drive.  The next story was about models who had to stand on top of 3 foot poles in the ground.  They had taller poles with primary colored discs to help them balance.  All of the models were wearing high heels.  I wondered how they could remain standing.  Just then one of them fell.  I realized it was a competition to determine who could stand the longest.  Someone changed channels.  We began watching a music video by Paula Abdul.  She was singing "Mo' Money Mo' Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G.  I commented on how ridiculous that was.

"A Visit from My History Professor"
My History professor stayed at my house with her daughter.  I believe that my professor was friends with my mother.  I walked into my bathroom in the morning and noticed that my closet was now where my shower used to be.  I also noticed that the lid to the toilet was bending.  I decided that I would have to take a shower in my parents' bathroom, but their shower was covered in mildew, so I tried to find shower shoes that I could wear.  I yelled to my mother and asked her if she would have time to go with me to a gym.  She said she would have time after she took my professor and her daughter to the airport.  I asked my mother if she was going to go to work and she responded that she would take me to the gym before she went to work.  I wondered how I would get home from the gym and then realized that I didn't have time to shower at all.

"A Friend Visited Miami"
Paloma called me and told me that she and her brother M had met my friend M2.  I was so surprised.  She said he came to visit Miami in the fall.  As I talked I was trying to find an empty place in the house because my mother seemed to be everywhere that I went.  Paloma said that M2 knocked on my door, but I wasn't home.  I told her that he could have called, or emailed, or IMed me.  Then I said I knew that M2 was visiting Miami at some point because F had told me the last time I talked to her.  Paloma continued talking about how bad she thought M2 was.  She said he was studying engineering, but she thought he was unmotivated.  She also mentioned that his language was very foul.  I talked to my mother after Paloma and I hung up about how sad I felt that I hadn't been able to see M2.  My mother said at least I knew he was here and had fun.  That didn't really make me feel any better.

"Eternal Darkness"
My brother, mother, grandmother, and I had all been on vacation together.  When it was time to leave, my mother didn't get into the car.  When my grandmother stopped to drop us off, only I got out of the car, but she dropped me off in a strange place.  It seemed like there was nothing nearby except old bars, so I went inside one of the buildings.  I met a boy who told me his name was Eternal Darkness.  He appeared to be goth, so I assumed that was his goth name.  He was so incredibly beautiful.  His skin was extremely pale and his hair was shiny and black.  He was wearing all black clothing.  I just wanted to be near him.  He introduced me to some of the other people who were in the bar, including Marilyn Manson.  I began talking to Marilyn, so Eternal Darkness left.  I felt almost mesmerized by Marilyn because he seemed to be so intelligent and so articulate.  He absolutely impressed me.  I called Calvin from a pay phone to tell him that I just spoke to Marilyn Manson, but Calvin seemed to disapprove.  He seemed to think I had lost my mind.  I think he felt that Marilyn Manson was immoral.

"Reading a Disney Book at School"
Diego and I were in a class together on the first day of school when the teacher asked Diego to read a book to the class.  The book Diego read was a book about the Disney movie Pocahontas.  As Diego was reading, it seemed as if it was no longer a book and was actually a movie.  Our class got out early, so I went to a gift store in the mall.  Our classroom was in the mall, so it didn't take long to go to the gift store where my mother joined me.  I told her about the book, and we looked at it in the store.  She asked how the book could look like a movie.  I mentioned that Diego's hand and the pages were blurred as he turned the pages.  My mother asked if it took a long time to get through the book.  I told her that Diego had skipped some pages.  As my mother and I were talking I saw my brother in the store.  I asked him to come look at the book with us, but he made a purchase and quickly left the store.  Then I saw a boy I knew from high school who had a baby and was pushing a stroller.

"Family Gathering"
My mother and I went to my grandmother's house.  My sister (I don't have one in real life.) was there with her new husband Roberto.  This was the first time I met him, but I thought my sister picked a very good person to marry because he seemed so friendly and intelligent.  He kind of reminded me of a character on a sitcom.  I thought of him as my uncle, although he was actually my brother-in-law.  He seemed to be much older than I, but he was definitely younger than 40.  We were all about to eat dinner, but my father wasn't there.  I asked my sister to call him and beg him to come join us.  She said she didn't feel very hopeful because Roberto had already left.  I was very disappointed that none of the men wanted to participate in our celebration.

"Strange Vacation"
My mother, brother, and I were on vacation, but it didn't seem very fun.  At first we were staying in someone's house.  We had two bedrooms to stay in.  My brother went to the bedroom where I my mother and I were going to sleep and fell asleep in the bed I was supposed to sleep in.  I woke him up and told him to move, but he angrily told me to sleep in the other room.  That meant I would have to sleep in the other room alone.  I felt afraid.  I dislike sleeping alone.  It seemed like I hadn't been in bed very long when my mother told me it was time to leave.  I got up and packed.  Alan and I walked outside and got onto an airplane, but our mother never got onto the plane.  We sat in the second row in seats across from each other.  The seats looked like seats on a school bus.  The other seats all had people in them, so the door of the plane was closed.  M was sitting in the seat in front of my brother.  After a while I noticed that the plane was not approaching a runway.  We were going around in circles on the ground.  Everyone started to complain.  My brother said that he wanted to be a commercial pilot and do a better job than current pilots.  M asked me if it bothered me that my brother wanted to be a pilot.  I said no.  I told M that my brother first wanted to be a movie star, then a professional gymnast, then a painter, so I was happy that he'd finally chosen to become a pilot.  I thought that being a pilot was much more sensible than the other choices.  M laughed and then began asking our pilot, who was a woman that worked in the cafeteria in my college, when we could get off the plane.  The woman asked M why he wanted to leave the plane.  Then she asked me.  I said I wanted to be able to walk around instead of sitting in the same seat for hours.

"Watching Food Network"
My father, brother and I were in a house, but there were no other rooms except a living room and bathroom.  We were watching a program on Food Network about cigar bands.  My father and I debated the purpose of  cigar bands.  I picked up a cigar and tried to hold it properly.  Alan looked like he was sick.  He reminded me of the time I was sick on vacation.  My father told me to leave Alan alone.  I went over to the stereo to play music.  I pushed buttons that looked like they operated a CD player, but the buttons actually played a record.  My father said I was going to ruin it because I didn't push the buttons the way he said to.  I didn't ruin it.

"Studying for a Test"
I was trying to study for an English test, but I was staying at Karen's house, so I was having trouble concentrating.  Everyone else in my family and hers was downstairs watching the Super Bowl and Having a party.  I went to visit another friend  in the diner where she worked.  I asked her if she had studied.  She said that she didn't have time to work and study.  I offered to quiz her while she worked.  I told her the test was very difficult.  I said that I got an 89 B.  My friend didn't seem to think that was so bad.  I told her that the teacher liked me more than anyone and still gave me a B.

"Creative Writing Couches"
I had to do a creative writing project for my final exam.  Another student and I met the professor in a classroom that looked like a large warehouse.  It was filled with dirty and old couches with the stuffing ripped out of them.  The professor told us that our project was to organize the couches.  I felt completely disgusted.  I didn't even want to touch them.  After moving a few of the couches and straightening the cushions on them, I joked that I had found one that would look great if it were just reupholstered.  My professor was not amused and told me in a very condescending tone to get back to work.  After I finally finished the exam, I went to find my school bus to go home.  I saw Diego and Jillian.  I told them how badly the exam had gone.  I asked them if they remembered which bus I needed to take to get home.  I couldn't remember if it was bus 12, 13, or 123.  Jillian offered to drive me home, but I politely declined.  I left them and walked to the area behind the school where the busses were parked.  I asked one of the bus drivers if she could drop me off on the main road and let me walk home.

"Running with Friends"
My friend F and I were standing among a large group of students.  We were waiting to participate in some type of running game at school.  I looked over at a large group of students who were all wearing black and appeared to be goth.  I noticed F2 who was a friend that I hadn't seen in years.  I walked over and introduced myself to her.  She barely seemed to remember me.  I asked her if she remembered F.  She did, but only vaguely.  We talked for a moment, but she and her friends said they were tired of waiting for the game to begin, so they were going to leave.  Just then the principal walked in and said the game would begin shortly.  He asked everyone to pick a partner.  I originally thought I would play the game with F, but I abandoned her for another partner.  The game was a race to run along an oval track with your partner beside you.  After the game was over, most of the students left.  I stayed to run the next race.  There were only three other students.  As I was running, it seemed as if my legs were moving, yet I wasn't really going anywhere.  I looked at my watch at the end of the race.  I had run a mile in 5 minutes and 39 seconds.  I thought that was pretty good, but suddenly a teacher, Mr. York, came up to me and told me that was a horrible time.  Later they showed a replay and said that I was disqualified because I stepped out of bounds at the beginning of the race.

"Buying a Quesadilla Maker"
I went to the grocery store because friends were coming over for dinner.  I had three shopping carts filled with food.  An old woman in the grocery store tried to be friendly to me and chat about how many groceries I was buying.  I was not amused.  I was having trouble carrying the carts around the store.  I finally got home with all the food and the quesadilla maker.  There were already many people at my house.  I began cooking.  The doorbell rang.  My father answered the door and then led Karen and her mother into the living room.  Karen seemed to be annoyed that there were so many other people at my house.  She had apparently thought that she and her mother would be the only people there.  I struggled to cook and entertain people at the same time.

"Charitable Contribution"
Police officers were directing traffic into the driveway of a church.  It was almost sunset.  I noticed many people in the parking lot with amputated limbs.  There was a gate separating the driveway from the parking lot.  A woman sat at the gate and asked me for a donation for the amputees.  I opened my wallet.  There were lots of pieces of paper in my wallet instead of money.  I realized that I had paid for something earlier with a $10 bill.  At that time it seemed like I had more money, but now it was gone.  I asked the woman if she would accept a credit card.  She said no.  I told her I would come back later and make a donation because I didn't have any cash.  I realized that this was like a toll on a road.  Every person driving on the main road was being directed into the church.  I hadn't wanted to go there or make a donation, but I had no choice.  I asked the woman how to get back to the main road.  It was completely dark now.  She gave me instructions, which I tried to follow, but I kept ending up back at the gate.

"Bugs Attack"
My brother and I stood in a room.  Suddenly spiders began falling from the air.  They were about to fall onto me.  I tried to tell my brother what was happening, but I couldn't talk very well.  I tried to scream, but he didn't hear me.  Finally, I managed to tell him that there were spiders.  I had wanted him to help me get away from the spiders.  I felt almost paralyzed with fear.  I couldn't make myself walk away.  Instead of helping, my brother completely abandoned me and ran away.

"Follow the Bunny"
I went to see a play at a high school.  A girl I was friends with in high school was performing, so afterwards I congratulated her.  I left the auditorium and walked down the hall.  My friend stayed to talk with some of her other friends.  Suddenly Belinda was walking slightly in front of me.  She informed me that there was a bunny somewhere on the hall.  Girls behind me began to run.  A girl spotted the rabbit on the on wall.   It was made out of white paper and taped to the wall upside-down.  All of the girls began running down the hall the other way to go to a connecting hall.  Belinda yelled out that we had to tell Brandon Boyd that we found the bunny.  The first person to do so would win a prize.  I ran down the hall in the same direction I had been walking.  It was the longer way to get to the next hall.  When I reached the next hall, the other girls were already there.  We passed each other.  At the very end of the hall I saw a sign that said Brandon.  I man was leaving that office.  I stopped him and asked if he was Brandon Boyd.  He said he was.  I told him that I saw the bunny.  He said I was going to win the giant briefcase.

"Personal Cheering Section"
The phone rang.  My mother answered it and told my brother and I to talk to the man who had called.  We listened to him on other phones.  He seemed like he was half telemarketer and half televangelist.  He told us that his church was sponsoring a race and asked us if we would be a personal cheering section for one of the runners.  I told him that we weren't interested.  My brother and I hung up.  I realized that my brother was running in the race and didn't have a personal cheering section.  I decided that it was my responsibility to be his personal cheering section.

"Swiffer Cloth Clothes and Daiquiris"
One of my classes ended very late at night.  It was on the twelfth floor of the dorms, yet I decided to take the stairs down to the first floor.  After a few flights of stairs, I decided to walk through one of the halls and look for an elevator.  I was very tired.  I stopped on a floor that looked like it was completely abandoned.  I encountered a janitor.  He scared me.  I ran to the elevator.  I was having trouble determining which button to push.  The buttons were shaped like numbers, but they were not in chronological order, and there were no buttons for the lower floors.  I pushed a button.  I was taken to a floor where a bunch of girls were watching a movie.  I noticed Belinda, a girl who lived on my floor, was there.  Somehow this floor did not seem to be the floor on which I lived.  I had been wearing jeans.  The girls gave me a white dress with white pants.  The fabric reminded me of Swiffer cloths.  I put the outfit on over my jeans.  My jeans hung out below the legs of the white pants.  I finally was able to leave the building.  I went to a mall.  My mother, grandmother, and cousins were there.  We all went to different stores.  I went to a restaurant and sat down.  My friend Diego came and sat at the table with me.  There was a bar connected to the restaurant.  Diego asked me if I wanted a daiquiri.  I said no.  He kept talking about it.  I felt like he was harassing me about having an alcoholic drink.  My cousins, mother, and grandmother entered the restaurant.  My grandmother told me that she had ordered french fries for my father.  I told her that he didn't come with us to the mall.  I also reminded her that he's on a low-carbohydrate diet and doesn't eat french fries.

"Doctor's Forms"
I sat in the waiting room of my doctor's office.  I had to fill out several forms.  One of the questions asked which school I was currently attending.  I was trying to fill out the form the same way I had during my last visit.  I wanted to seem consistent, but I couldn't remember the answers I had given the last time.  I went to the airport to go on vacation.  I had planned to visit my friend Ursula.  I had to walk to my friend's house from the airport.  I was surprised that the area around the airport looked so rural.  I passed three boys who were playing drums.  They appeared to be in a marching band.  I thought it was interesting that they randomly changed the rhythms and patterns, yet they all were able to continue in synchronization.  I saw my friend Jillian.  I realized that I was visiting her, not Ursula.  Zara, a mutual friend of ours, was standing beside her.  Zara seemed to be much friendlier than Jillian.

"Calculus at Lunch"
At lunch I sat at a large round table with lots of people.  I sat beside F6, who I recognized as being a friend of Calvin.  Calvin came and sat with us.  They both had calculus books sitting on the table.  F6 was eating lunch, but Calvin seemed to be doing calculus homework.  I offered to help, although I don't know anything about calculus.  I wondered why he was struggling with the homework because I knew that he knows calculus.  I thought that F6 should help him because they appeared to be in the same class.

"Spinning House"
I visited my brother at his dorm.  I offered to take him out to lunch.  We went to a restaurant near campus that was empty.  Diego was there.  We sat in a booth and looked at menus, but the waitress never came over and asked us what we would like to order.  We left and went to Diego's house.  There was some kind of concert going on inside the house.  I think Sting was performing.  There were lots of people inside the house watching, but I didn't really want to go inside.  The concert ended and everyone left.  Diego and I went into his house, which was made out of glass.  Everyone else was gone except his family.  He told me that on this day each year his house spins.  I had no idea what he was talking about.  Suddenly the house was hundreds of feet in the air and spinning like a carnival ride.  I felt terrified.  There was no longer a roof on the house.  I looked over the edge and screamed.  Diego was lying on the floor smiling.  I said I wished that he had explained everything to me before the house was spinning because I would have left.  As the house stopped spinning, he jumped over the edge.  He was lying on the ground below the house.  Luckily, he moved before the house crushed him.  I left angrily.  I went home.  Alan and Fluff were in the backyard.  They were following two raccoons.  Alan and Fluff went into the front yard.  One of the raccoons became a tiger and jumped at the door where I was standing.  I was very worried about Alan and Fluff.  I walked to my bedroom.  As I passed my father's room, he asked if everything was ok.  I said yes, although I felt as if everything was falling apart.

"Camping at a Hotel"
I went camping along with several other people that I knew from school.  For some reason they were sleeping in tents and my mother and I were sleeping in a hotel room.  I was in the hotel bathroom, but I could see right through the door and the walls.  A man and his young son were standing in my hotel room.  I went into the room and asked them what they wanted.  The man explained that he was divorced and that he had checks that he was supposed to be sending to his ex-wife, but the checks were disappearing.  I questioned him about who had access to his house.  Finally, he told me he thought Michael, the man he and his son were currently sharing a tent with, had stolen them.  He said he and Michael were supposed to be best friends.  I told him nothing could be done now because it was early in the morning and we couldn’t wake Michael up.  The man didn’t listen and tried to use the phone in my hotel room to call Michael in his tent.  Luckily the man couldn’t figure out which numbers to dial in order to place the call.  Everyone began packing up to leave.  I looked at the clock.  It was 3:00 a.m.  A girl I knew from high school asked me if I wanted to go to the school bookstore when we got back because it was the last day of a 60% off sale.  My father said the bookstore wouldn’t be open at this time.
